Today is when the real magic starts and we begin to go through the processes you can use to start making money online!

In case you don't already know, Affiliate Marketing is selling products that are owned by someone else. For every sale you make, you will receive a commission from the product owner, also known as the merchant.

There are many reasons why Affiliate Marketing is one of the most profitable way to start making money online but I must confess that it is not an easy task to start making money online from being an affiliate marketer, here are just a few;

1. Merchants will pay you 50% or more of every sale you make. The price for each product varies but some sell for hundreds of dollars and you can make a very good income from it.
2. You do not have to concern yourself with creating a product, or a website to sell the product, nor do you have to worry about refunds or customer service etc.
3. The only thing you have to do to make money is promote the product! That's all there is too it!
You can use Pay-Per-Click PPC advertisement programs like the very popular Google Adword, becoming a blogger and writing posts that will bring visitors who are looking for your product. other ways are by using social networking sites like Facebook, Friendster, Twitter, Linkedin, Squidoo, etc and also using your forum signature wisely.
Promote successfully and every month you will receive a nice affiliate income regular as clockwork.

So how do you get started?

Well the first thing you should do is familiarize yourself with the two biggest market places for affiliate products.

You can visit these 2 websites, pick a product you like then look of and start promoting it straight away.

I suggest you head over to these websites straight away, sign up as an affiliate (don't worry this is completely free) and start to look over some of the products and get to know how these websites work.

The first and most popular market place is Clickbank at http://www.clickbank.com.

Visit the website and sign up and then visit their marketplace where you can search through the products and view the Sales Pages etc.

The second market place is Paydotcom at http://www.paydotcom.com.
Again, sign up for this website and click on "Promote Products" and then "Marketplace"

You will find products in these market places on virtually every subject you can imagine. in my next topics under the Affiliate Marketing category, I will be teaching on how to choose a product to promote and how to go about promoting it to earn all those lucrative Affiliate Commissions.

But step one is to familiarize yourself with those websites, this is very important as they will become like a second home to you over the coming weeks and months.

After choosing the product to affiliate with and start promoting, the next step will be to start getting referrals and this can be done by blogging and posting topics that will make your readers want to buy your product on your blog or running Pay-Per-Click adverts like Google Adword>

When you first visit, they may seem a little confusing or intimidating, it's perfectly normal to feel that way so don't worry about that for now, you will soon be on your way to unlimited affiliate commissions.
